PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON NEW MAISON DE RADIO-CANADA PROJECT

June 13, 2017 – The Montreal borough of Ville-Marie invites residents to take part in a public consultation [add link] on the Broccolini Group proposal for construction and development of the new Maison de Radio-Canada (MRC). The consultation period runs from June 14 through September.

The borough’s urban planning advisory committee has already reviewed the document tabled by Broccolini and issued its recommendations to the borough council.

A public consultation session will be held on June 22. The new MRC project will be submitted to the borough council for approval after three readings, the first of which is scheduled for June 14.

The project timeline calls for construction of the new Maison de Radio-Canada to begin in late summer 2017 and be completed by late 2019, with a move-in date sometime in 2020.
