The worksite will soon be hopping!

4 August 2017 – Major work will begin on August 7. There will be a lot of activity and truck traffic on the worksite for the new Maison de Radio-Canada between 7 am and 6 pm, Mondays to Fridays.

During the August 7–25 period, a fence will be set up around the perimeter to secure the worksite. Backfilling and compacting work will also be carried out on some parts of the lot.

Soil decontamination will continue and excavation for the purpose of building the new MRC could begin.

The demolition and compacting work could cause vibrations that can be felt at MRC, but also around the perimeter. While they may cause annoyance, they are perfectly normal. Measures have been taken to limit the impacts on our operations. In the event that residents are inconvenienced by the work, they can notify Radio-Canada security at 514 597-5500 or write to

Visit the website regularly – we will continue to keep you up to date on the progress of the work until the end of construction, planned for 2020.
